Description
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 from the Lego Technic series is the fourth super car from the "Ultimate Car Concept" product range for adults. By combining classic parts and Technic elements, the silhouette of the original is perfectly reproduced. The model impresses with many technical delicacies, including a sequential 8-speed gearbox, independent suspension, a V12 engine and gullwing doors. A special mechanism was developed for the latter, which first pushes the doors outwards and then upwards. As with the Lamborghini Sián, this mechanism can be triggered from the engine compartment. It is a bit of a shame that Lego did not include headlights, which really would not be necessary in this price segment. If you want a bit of a convertible feeling, the roof can be easily removed, but unfortunately there is no way to store it in the model, for example in the front boot, although there is a relatively large amount of space there. On a positive note, once again no stickers are used and the individual parts are printed.
The model gets 6 stars from us.
