Description
The Pick-up Tow Truck from the Lego Technic series is a model that clearly impresses with how closely it resembles the original. Of course, it doesn’t only look good - it also offers numerous functions. In addition, the very robust construction guarantees a lot of fun. Via a switch lever in the driver's cab, the same drive is used for the winch and for the traverse. Great idea! But unfortunately I have a criticism: the truck could get the highest rating if there were twin tyres. The rear mudguards are sufficiently wide, so there is enough space. Every tow truck of this size has twin tyres on the rear axle. A closer look at the construction reveals that the wheels have been artificially pushed to the outside, so with a bit of skill you can easily install the twin tyres. Why are they missing? Perhaps Lego wants to make more money by selling individual parts? In total, there are only five stars in the overall rating. Pity.
