Description
The Mars Exploration Rover from the Lego Technic series is one of three space explorer sets from spring 2024. Young explorers will discover lots of authentic functions on the detailed Mars rover. If you pull the model apart, the loading area is revealed. If the vehicle is then maneuvered into the correct position, the suspension can be tested straight away. In my opinion, this is also the weak point of the model. The crane can be used to hoist the rover robot, tools and the fuel reactor. There are seats, a shower, a toilet, a treadmill and a refrigerator in the cabin and in the crews room. There is also an elevator function and a number of accessories such as containers for rock samples, gas bottles, water canisters and a Mini Rover. To make the vehicle more authentic, even tires made of light grey rubber have been used. Although plenty of stickers are used again, it must be mentioned positively that these harmonize very well with the parts in terms of color.
All in all, the model gets full marks from us.
